The present invention, which includes method, system and kit is based on the concept to make alkane gas and diesel mixture suitable for withstanding the compression temperatures and therefore igniting only at the appropriate moment of diesel vaporization, so, avoiding diesel engine knocking due to self-ignition.

Diesel as the fuel and alkane gases as the fuel have different fuel’s ignition temperatures. Diesel, alkane gas and water have very different properties, therefore, creating a stable and homogeneous mixture of these three substances is challenging. H2O-CH technology has solved that challenge by mixing alkane gas with water vapor and injecting it into the engine’s air intake manifold.

In a diesel engine, the air is compressed first, which increases its temperature. Once the temperature of the air is high enough and diesel fuel is injected into the combustion chamber, the fuel-air mixture ignites due to the high temperatures. Using H2O-CH technology, instead of air, the mixture of air, alkane gas and water vapor ir injected into the combustion chamber. The mix of alkane gas and water vapor ensures antiknock during compression ignition and allows operation of a diesel CR engine with a high amount of alkane gas in combination with diesel. High temperatures cause the splitting of the water vapor into hydrogen and oxygen called Thermolysis. It ensures a normal combustion process of the fuel mixture and increases the efficiency of the diesel engine by at least 5 to 10%.

By adding alkane gas and water vapor to the fuel mix, we increase the detonation force (F) in the combustion chamber and obtain greater pressure on the piston, therefore an increase in torque for the same RPM takes place. It allows to reduce total amount of fuel.

H2O-CH technology allows to regulate the variables of the fuel mix, so either CNG or LPG or their bio-equivalents (BioLPG, BioCNG) can be used to displace diesel. The installation of the system is simple which requires the connection to vehicles CAN port, battery, water container and engines air intake manifold.

Important: if ArtuPower system is turned off, for whatever reason (running out of gas, any kind of technical issues) vehicle continues driving in “it’s regular mode” using only diesel!
